Franco & Ozlem Bouserio’s Wedding

I did Franco’s family portrait session few years back when he was still a teenager and when he decided to get married he gave me a call to see if I could photograph his wedding as well. It is always nice when old clients remember you even though haven’t heard from them for a while. It must mean I am doing something right.
They had the wedding service at Vaucluse House and although there was a bit of rain on the day they had a great time. The reception was at Mediterranean House in Five Dock. As usual the food was really nice and the room setting looked beautiful. You have to admire a business that has been around for over 30 years and still keeps the high standards.

It is not every wedding when the Groom decides to build the Bridal Cars from scratch. But that is what Jason did for his Bride.
The cars, Vintage Holdens, looked real nice and they added a special touch to their wedding. And, believe or not, the cars didn’t break down on the day! How cool is that?
By the way, Chanelle looked beautiful on her Abbey Bridal gown!

The best thing about being a wedding photographer is that you never quite know what kind of photos you may end up getting on the day. You can plan out your shoot the day before but you always get a pleasant and unexpected surprise on the day.
On Jason & Maria’s wedding we were doing location shots at Neilsen Park and we were just about to head to the reception when, this huge cruise ship left Sydney harbour and made a perfect backdrop for the last few location shots. You simply cannot plan for a scene like this!

I don’t mind shooting a wedding when it is raining. I find the light is always very round and soft, which is great for photography. But on Michael & Melissa’s wedding day the rain just would not stop. And it was raining quite heavily! It was one of those days that are good to get some great but unexpected shots.

The great thing about shooting Egyptian weddings is that the ceremony is very colorful and there are so many interesting rituals and traditions, which is great from a photographers point of view.
Ramy & Irene got married at the St Mary’s Coptic Church in Kirrawee and the Reception was hosted by Doltone House which is located on the Jones Bar Wharf, Pyrmont. Irene’s shoes were made by Gary Castles and her Gown was done by Balmain base designer Joanne Panzarino and she looked stunning in it.
Arian Film Productions took care of the the video side of things while the cars were supplied by Doltone Limo Wedding Cars. Sydney’s famous Rocks district and the International cruise terminal gave the perfect backdrop to the location shoot and the photos turned out great!

What a beautiful wedding! The bride was simply stunning and it was such a pleasure to photograph another wedding within the Sergi family. They really know how to arrange a great wedding. Daniella’s dress was hand made by Lawrence Shelis and the hair & beauty was done by Sculpt Hair Studios . And what a fantastic job they did. Curzon Hall in Marsfield hosted the magnificent reception, and as expected, the room just looked spectacular! The cinematography was done by Abraham Joffie from Unttitled Film works. Last but definitely not least, the service. An elegant and touching Service at Ryde at St Charles Catholic Church was certainly a highlight. It was truly a day to remember!!

Robert & Catherine Liberatore got married in Sydney, Australia on the 2nd of October 2010.
It was a beautiful wedding like only the Italians know how to stage. The service was at the Mary Immaculate Church in Waverly and the reception was in the new Darling Island Wharf, Doltone House, in Pyrmont (www.doltonehouse.com.au). The wedding planning was done by Sweet Art (www.sweetart.com.au) and they did an exquisite job from the flower arrangements to the venue set up and, of course, the Wedding Cake as well. Catherine’s wedding gown was done by Lawrence Shiels and she looked amazing in it.
Playtime Video (www.playtimevideo.com.au) took care of the video side of things and the cars were supplied by 7th Heaven Wedding Cars(www.7thheaven.com.au). All the stationary was done by Chapel Press (www.www.chapelpress.com.au).
We did the location photos at the Argyle center and around the Rocks area as you can see in the photos.
